You belong here.
Fireside is a gathering place for belonging.
It is shaped by welcome, everyday grace, and the quiet belief that people do not have to earn their place to be loved well.
For nearly twenty years, I have cared for children and families as an early educator and children's minister.
Creating meaningful experiences has long been part of who I am. I love helping people learn, connect, and feel like they belong. I have always been drawn to curriculum creation, storytelling, hands-on learning, and making things both engaging and accessible.
These days, that love is taking shape in new ways.
I find myself in a season of transition. I am leaning into life at home a little more deeply. We are trying to grow some of our own food, make things with our hands, slow down enough to notice the beauty in ordinary moments, and build a life that feels more rooted, more meaningful, and more full of grace.
That is what Fireside is.
A place for encouragement.
A place for creativity.
A place for family life, learning, handmade goodness, and simple joys.
It is for people who are building a life with care, one small rhythm at a time. It is a space that leaves room to be human. A space that values belonging over perfection, encouragement over pressure, and meaningful moments over rushing through.
Here you will find simple recipes, family fun ideas, printables, handmade goods, gentle encouragement, and practical resources for making home feel a little softer, a little warmer, and a little more full of life.
You will also find pieces of my heart here: a love for helping others belong, a love for creating things that are useful and beautiful, and a love for gathering people in through words, ideas, and shared moments.
More than anything, I hope this space feels like an open door.
A reminder that you do not have to earn your way in.
You can just be here.
You belong here.
From our hearth to yours,
Heather
